Notorious UFO conspiracy theorist Richard Fiske is missing, last seen on Aster Kinney’s remote Alberta farmstead. When questioned by local cop Mike, she's a determinedly unreliable witness. Mysterious, dark, and pure Canadian Gothic, Sundogs explores human purpose, vast and minute -  eerie as a gathering storm over wheat fields.

Sundogs premiered at the 2014 Edmonton International Fringe Festival. It was produced by Holding Hollow Productions and directed by Louise Casemore. Original cast: Holly Cinnamon (ASTER), Evan Hall (MIKE) and Brendan Thompson (DAN).

"This play had the most convincing and horrifying example of the consequences of living surrounded by clutter and hoarded possessions that I have ever heard or read..."

 - Ephemeral Pleasures Review (Edmonton, AB)

"(FOUR STARS) It's always a treat to see a playwright capable of using a one-act's minimal stage time to find complexity. Michaela Jeffery's script is a tightly constructed prairie drama that manages to weave connections between its three characters while telling a story that speaks to the lonliness of small town isolation. Holly Cinnamon is magnetic as the troubled Aster, and the entire production is every inch the eerie prairie gothic it aims to be."
